The Modern Warfare Beta is almost upon us, but it appears new details have started to emerge. According to a new rumor courtesy of ‘TheGamingRevolution’, the Modern Warfare Beta maps will be as follows.
It has been confirmed for a while now that Gunfight will be available during the upcoming Beta. The 2v2 Alpha on PS4 consisted of five maps, though it seems only four of those will be making a return later this week.
TGR claims four maps from the Alpha will be available, in addition to an array of main maps available on all Multiplayer modes. It’s important to note that Infinity Ward is yet to comment on the matter, so take the following with a pinch of salt. Without further ado, here’s the list of rumored maps for the Modern Warfare Beta.
Hackney Yard features both day and night variants. The map is set in London, consisting of both close-quarter areas as well as room for long-distance battles. With an array of objects scattered over the area, there’s plenty of room to hide! This map was
Azhir Cave features areas for long distance fights alongside close-quarters. Players are also granted with enough protection, courtesy of containers and immobile vehicles embedded into the sides.
The YouTuber didn’t comment on what the Gunfight maps will be. They did mention, however, that players will have the opportunity to get hands-on with
Gun Runner was initially teased prior to the game’s reveal, so perhaps you might have a rough idea of what to expect. The medium-sized map includes various shipment containers in addition to what appears to be a derailed track.
This map appears to be somewhat reminiscent of Pripyat from Call of Duty 4, though it’s actually set just 5k outside of Russia. It’s built for 10v10 and 20v20 as it has plenty of room for battle.
Infinity Ward is yet to discuss Quarry in detail, so it remains unclear as to what this map will be like.
