Infinity Ward has released a new roadmap ahead of the Modern Warfare beta, although perhaps the next information is set to emerge during the Tokyo Game Show 2019 event. Modern Warfare will be playable at the event, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has confirmed.

The next iteration of the franchise seems to play quite an integral role within the TGS 2019 lineup. Players will be able to get hands-on with the game, in addition to a trailer also set to surface.

The event is scheduled to commence on September 12 to 15 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. With beta early access also set to start on September 12 for PS4, perhaps it showcase a new trailer for the beta.

It should be noted that the official lineup lists Ghost of Tsushima as an “old trailer,” whereas Modern Warfare is just listed as a “trailer.” However, Infinity Ward’s “Road to Launch” schedule doesn’t appear to include any beta trailers, so maybe it won’t be anything new. Considering the developers are yet to comment on TGS 2019, it’ll most likely merely be an old trailer.
