Nintendo Switch Online members can reportedly redeem 13 new game-themed profile icon designs in the October 2026 rotation: six based on Devil World and seven based on Densetsu no Starfy. Nintendo News Hub reports that each design costs 10 My Nintendo Platinum Points and is available through November 2, 2026. The specific counts, price and deadline come from secondary coverage; check the Nintendo Switch Online app for current availability.
What’s in the October icon rotation?
The reported selection has two groups of profile icon designs. The following counts and deadline are from Nintendo News Hub’s October 6, 2026 report, rather than a located Nintendo announcement.
| Game | Reported designs | Reported cost | Reported availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Devil World | 6 | 10 Platinum Points per design | Through November 2, 2026 |
| Densetsu no Starfy | 7 | 10 Platinum Points per design | Through November 2, 2026 |
At the reported price, redeeming all 13 designs would cost 130 Platinum Points. That total is calculated from the reported counts and per-design price, not published by Nintendo.
How to get the icon designs
Nintendo’s Missions & Rewards explainer says members can redeem My Nintendo Platinum Points for icon elements, including characters, backgrounds and frames, and combine them into a user icon. A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem points.

The reported 10-point cost applies to each design, so check the app for the live listing and any applicable redemption details.
Do you need Expansion Pack for the Starfy icons?
The games are in different Nintendo Switch Online classic-game catalogs. Nintendo’s July 11, 2024 catalog update lists Densetsu no Starfy, Densetsu no Starfy 2 and Densetsu no Starfy 3 in the Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online collection, which requires Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for access. Nintendo’s October 31, 2023 notice identifies Devil World as a 1984 Famicom game and says it was added to Nintendo Switch Online’s Famicom collection.

Nintendo News Hub reports November 2, 2026 as the final day for this rotation. Because that date is from secondary coverage, treat it as reported rather than confirmed by Nintendo and verify the listing in the Nintendo Switch Online app before relying on it.
