Young Link in Hyrule Castle Town
The Castle Town clip reportedly follows young Link past a couple dancing beside a fountain. The camera turns around the square as Link climbs stairs, revealing alleyways, additional buildings, and higher parts of the town. Vice reproduces the account’s caption as describing a lively town at the kingdom’s center, with people and shops; this is a reported translation, not a verified verbatim English Nintendo quote. Vice dates the post to September 30, 2026.
Adult Link at Gerudo Fortress
In the second clip, adult Link reportedly uses ladders to reach upper levels of the fortress buildings before the view pans across the surrounding desert. The report also notes an updated arrangement of the Gerudo Valley theme. Vice dates this post to October 1, 2026, and describes the caption as identifying the fortress as the Gerudo’s home in a vast desert.

What the clips do—and do not—establish
The footage offers glimpses of the locations’ presentation and visible routes: Castle Town’s streets, stairs, and buildings, and Gerudo Fortress’s ladders, upper levels, and desert setting. Nintendo has separately confirmed remodeled locations and revised camera and movement controls. The clips and available reporting do not establish a precise map-by-map comparison with the original, nor do they confirm new explorable areas.
