The reports describe two separate cases; they do not establish that 100 Thieves commissioned or approved Nadeshot’s promotion.
What happened with Nadeshot’s Roobet promotion?
Insider Gaming reported that on October 1, 2026, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag posted a promotion for a week of Roobet casino streams on Kick. Insider Gaming and Sportskeeda described the accompanying video as AI-generated. Those are the outlets’ descriptions; the original social post and video were not independently authenticated for this account. Insider Gaming’s report and Sportskeeda’s coverage also discuss the post’s timing and reaction.
Sportskeeda reproduced promotional language describing a plan to stream eight to ten hours a day for eight days. That was a stated plan in the post, not confirmation that the streams took place.
Why did the timing attract attention?
On September 30, 100 Thieves apologized over AI use in artwork associated with its RuneScape merchandise collaboration with Jagex, according to contemporaneous reports. Nadeshot’s Roobet post followed the next day, making the two AI-related stories easy to juxtapose. The sequence does not show that the promotion was a 100 Thieves project or that the organization approved it.

The contexts also differed: the merchandise case concerned artwork for goods sold to fans as part of an organizational collaboration, while Nadeshot’s reported case concerned an AI-described promotional video for his Roobet streams. That distinction helps explain his response, but it does not settle the broader debate about AI use.
