The new cyberpunk game most likely meant by the headline is Nivalis Nights, a single-player life-simulation, management, RPG, and adventure game from ION LANDS and 505 Games. It launched on Steam on September 29, 2026. Rather than focusing on conventional cyberpunk combat, its listed activities center on running businesses, building relationships, and making a home in a sprawling city.
What is Nivalis Nights?
Nivalis Nights is a single-player game set in a cyberpunk city stretching from the ocean to the clouds. Steam categorizes it as Adventure, RPG, and Simulation, with tags including Cyberpunk, Life Sim, Management, Fishing, Cooking, and Romance. Those labels point to a mix of activities, but the store description’s clearest emphasis is on building a life and business in the city.
The game was previously called Nivalis. In a developer announcement, ION LANDS said the project had a new name and logo, while remaining the same game.

When did Nivalis Nights release, and who made it?
Nivalis Nights released on Steam on September 29, 2026. ION LANDS developed it, and 505 Games published it. The publisher’s page also describes the game as available now.
How much does Nivalis Nights cost on Steam?
The developer’s pre-release Steam announcement gave launch prices of $24.99, €24.99, and £21.99, with a 10% launch discount. Those were launch terms, not a guarantee of the current price or promotion. Check the Steam store listing for the price in your region today.

No such claim is established. The headline does not name a game, and other releases could also fit the broad description. Nivalis Nights is the likely match because it launched on the date reported here and its Steam page describes it as a cyberpunk game—not because it is the only recent cyberpunk release on the platform.
