Mecha Knights: Nightmare is a single-player mech action shooter for Windows, built around a 20-mission campaign, large-scale battles, and customizing a Mobile Armor. It was developed and published by Damian Kubiak and released on August 30, 2021. The official Steam listing also offers an expansion and a raid map pack.
What is Mecha Knights: Nightmare about?
The game’s fictional story is set in 2049. A Second Cold War between NATO and a Russia-China alliance escalates into an apocalyptic conflict after a mysterious incident brings monstrous creatures into the world. You play as Ethan, an American pilot fighting with NATO forces. This is the game’s science-fiction premise, not a depiction of real-world events.

Is a sequel in development?
A Steam Community news post dated November 10, 2025 announced that Mecha Knights: Nightmare 2 was in development and that its Steam page was live. The announcement does not establish a release date. [Steam Community news feed]
