There is no substantiated Switch 2 frame rate, resolution, loading-time or graphics advantage to report. The confirmed differences are in what each platform’s store listing explicitly advertises.
What is confirmed about Switch 2 performance?
Nintendo lists the Switch 2 release date as 18 September 2026, but its game page does not state a resolution, frame-rate target or measurement, loading time, or graphics settings. The official listings reviewed likewise provide no matched Switch 2 comparison with PS5, Xbox, PC or the original Switch. That means there is not enough published evidence to say whether the Switch 2 version runs faster, looks sharper or loads more quickly than another version.

The Xbox Store advertises “60 fps+” for its Xbox Series X|S listing. That is a Microsoft store claim for the Xbox version; it is not a Switch 2 specification or a cross-platform test. Store descriptions are advertised features, not independent benchmark results.

These listings are useful for checking what each storefront advertises, but their differences are not proof that a feature is absent from another version. In particular, a PS5 listing’s DualSense support or Xbox’s Play Anywhere feature does not tell us whether Switch 2 has an equivalent or different capability.

What kind of game is it?
Nintendo describes an arcade beat ’em up based on AMC’s The Walking Dead and the All Out War storyline. Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon and Michonne are playable. Combat combines melee and ranged attacks against walker swarms and Savior enemies, with multi-phase bosses and multiple difficulty levels, including an optional Easy Mode. Trailmark also describes scavenging, looting, puzzle solving, character leveling and Game+ replay. Its official FAQ says the game is single-player and has no online elements “at this time”; it also says Negan unlocks after the first playthrough. Trailmark Games’ Steam announcements and FAQ.

Which version should you choose?
Without matched performance tests, platform choice comes down to the system you own and the documented features that matter to you—not a proven Switch 2 frame-rate or visual advantage. If offline play or a particular storefront feature is important, check the listing for the version and region you plan to buy. For a performance decision, wait for comparisons that test the same scenes and game state across versions, including frame-time stability, output resolution, loading, graphics settings and handheld versus docked Switch 2 play.

Nintendo lists the Switch 2 release date as 18 September 2026. Trailmark’s 4 August 2026 announcement listed a Standard Edition at $19.99 and a Deluxe Edition at $29.99. The Deluxe Edition adds the Arcade Apocalypse Pack, bonus weapon skins, a premium Rick skin and Endless Survival mode. Trailmark says physical copies are available or planned for Switch, Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox. Its FAQ says, “Yes on Switch, Switch 2, and PS5, and Xbox.” Check the relevant retailer for current stock and edition details. The developer also says the game is “best played with a controller,” without naming a required model. Trailmark Games’ Steam announcements and FAQ.
