The headline-worthy U.S. Nintendo Switch 2 Black Friday bundle was a 2025 offer: Nintendo listed the console with Mario Kart World for $499.99. That is historical, not a confirmed 2026 Black Friday deal. Nintendo’s announced 2026 U.S. bundle is a different package at $549.99, with a 90-day Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership included.
What was the Nintendo Switch 2 Black Friday bundle deal?
For the 2025 U.S. holiday period, Nintendo listed the Switch 2 system at $449.99 and the system bundled with a full download of Mario Kart World at $499.99 suggested retail price. The bundle effectively added the game for $50 over the console’s listed price. A deal guide from that Black Friday period reported the bundle at $499 at major retailers and described a $30 saving against buying the console and game separately; retailer prices and stock could vary. Nintendo’s 2025 holiday announcement is the official source for the suggested prices, while the retailer comparison was reported during the promotion.

Those figures describe a dated 2025 U.S. holiday offer, not a live promotion. They do not establish that the same package or discount will return for Black Friday 2026.
How does the announced 2026 U.S. bundle compare?
Nintendo’s 2026 U.S. announcement lists a Mario Kart World bundle for $549.99. It includes the Switch 2 system, a full game download, and a 90-day Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo says the bundle saves $37.98 compared with purchasing those included items separately at suggested retail prices. That is Nintendo’s stated comparison for this specific package, not an independently measured retailer discount.

| 2025 holiday bundle | $499.99 U.S. suggested retail price, announced by Nintendo for the 2025 holiday period | Switch 2 system and full Mario Kart World download | Nintendo listed the standalone system at $449.99. The $499 retailer price and $30 separate-purchase saving were reported by a deal guide during the 2025 Black Friday period. |
| 2026 announced bundle | $549.99 U.S., in Nintendo’s 2026 announcement | Switch 2 system, full Mario Kart World download, and 90-day Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership | Nintendo states $37.98 savings against buying those included items separately at suggested retail prices. |
Because the 2026 package adds a 90-day membership and has a different price basis, comparing its headline price directly with the 2025 bundle can mislead. Check the listing’s contents and the total at checkout rather than treating the two bundles as identical.
Nintendo also said the U.S. standalone system price was planned to rise to $499.99 effective September 1, 2026. That is a console-only price, not the price of the bundle. Nintendo’s investor-relations material says U.S. prices exclude tax. See Nintendo’s 2026 price revision information and Nintendo’s U.S. bundle announcement.

Is there a confirmed U.S. Black Friday 2026 offer?
The official sources cited here do not establish a U.S. Black Friday 2026 promotion, retailer discount, live inventory, or checkout price. Nintendo’s $549.99 announcement describes a bundle and its availability, not a Black Friday sale. Treat any retailer price as a separate offer and verify it directly before buying; the price may differ from Nintendo’s suggested retail price, and tax and return terms affect the final value.
Why region matters
Nintendo’s holiday bundles and prices are not interchangeable across countries. Its UK announcement lists upcoming Switch Sports Resort and Mario Kart World bundles, each with a 90-day individual online membership, but does not state bundle prices. A separate Japan-only bundle announced for November 12, 2026 costs 63,980 yen including tax and pairs a Japanese-language system with a code for one of three digital games. Code redemption requires a Nintendo Account and internet access, and the code expires March 31, 2027. Neither offer establishes a U.S. price or promotion.

- Shape the world and build a cozy new life with Pokémon as a Ditto transformed to look like a human.
- Use other Pokémon’s moves, like Bulbasaur’s Leafage, to revitalize and navigate the world around you.
- Meet and befriend more Pokémon as you help nature flourish.
- Gather materials to create items and furniture, till the fields to grow delicious crops, build homes for the Pokémon you meet, and more—there’s so much to do!
- Experience a world with varied weather, real-time days and nights, and other surprises.
A UK retailer report also described an Argos offer on September 24, 2026: a console for £354.99 with selected games available for £20. That was a dated UK retailer promotion, not a Nintendo U.S. Black Friday price. Consult the Nintendo UK announcement, Nintendo’s investor-relations information, and TechRadar’s report on the Argos promotion for the respective regional details.

- Confirm the country and date. A 2025 U.S. holiday price or a UK retailer deal does not tell you what a U.S. retailer is charging now.
- Read the package contents. Check whether the game is a download or physical copy and whether an online membership is included, including its duration.
- Compare like with like. Set the bundle price against the same system, game, and membership purchased separately at current local prices; do not compare the 2025 package with the larger 2026 package as if their contents match.
- Check the final checkout total. Add applicable tax and delivery, then review stock, seller identity, and return terms before deciding that a discount is worthwhile.
For someone buying in the U.S., the historical $499.99 2025 Mario Kart World bundle is a useful benchmark, while the announced $549.99 2026 bundle is a distinct offer with an included 90-day membership. Neither figure confirms a Black Friday 2026 discount.
