Why Warhammer Survivors is the bridge between them
Warhammer Survivors is an upcoming fast-paced roguelite in the settings of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Its announced loop has players choose a hero, fight swarms, level up, evolve weapons and build power across repeat runs. Games Workshop’s October 6, 2026 announcement names Tyranids and Skaven among the enemies and reports more than 40 playable characters and more than 70 weapons; those are announced figures, not a count independently tested in a released game.
The project pairs Auroch Digital, developer of Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, with poncle, the developers of Vampire Survivors. The announcement describes character unlocks, upgrades, weapon combinations and secrets. Auroch Digital’s game page also describes the release and gameplay: Warhammer Survivors at Auroch Digital.
