Moon Knight is the clearest documented opponent Taskmaster would rather not face. Marvel says Taskmaster tried to get out of a contract to assassinate Marc Spector, then Moon Knight pursued and defeated him. That makes Moon Knight a particularly difficult matchup—not proof that Taskmaster personally hates fighting him or considers him his worst opponent.
Why Moon Knight is Taskmaster’s clearest bad matchup
Taskmaster, whose real name is Anthony “Tony” Masters, is a career criminal and combat trainer. Marvel describes his photographic reflexes as allowing him to copy observed superhero moves; he studies fighting techniques and trains hired help for supervillains and criminal organizations. But copying movements does not guarantee that a fight will go his way.
In Marvel’s account of the Committee storyline, the organization hired Taskmaster to assassinate Moon Knight. The Committee’s agent misjudged Marc Spector as someone without friends or determination. Moon Knight’s allies came to help, Taskmaster tried to get out of the contract, and Moon Knight tracked him to the Committee’s base and defeated him. The sequence—not a stated personal grudge—is why Moon Knight is the strongest answer to the question.
Marvel’s Taskmaster profile is the source for his background and the Committee encounter. It also lists Moon Knight among the fighting styles Taskmaster has duplicated. That detail makes the outcome notable: knowing an opponent’s moves is not the same as being assured of victory.

Does Taskmaster actually hate fighting Moon Knight?
Marvel’s official material cited here does not say Taskmaster hates Moon Knight, or identify anyone he hates fighting most. It establishes that he tried to withdraw from this particular assassination deal and that Moon Knight beat him. Calling Moon Knight a difficult or undesirable opponent is a fair reading of those events; presenting it as Taskmaster’s explicit personal feeling would go beyond what the source says.
