Spoilers: This guide reveals the final-quest choice and what the Unmoored World is. During Legacy, reach the Dragon’s heart and use the Empowered Godsbane Blade to take the secret-ending route. Simply riding through the final encounter leads to the standard ending instead.
How to reach the Unmoored World
- Progress through the main story until the final quest, Legacy, and the encounter with the Dragon.
- While riding the Dragon, make your way to its heart.
- Use the Empowered Godsbane Blade there. This triggers the secret-ending route and access to the Unmoored World. PowerPyx describes using the blade on the Arisen while positioned over the heart, while GameSpot describes stabbing the Dragon; reach the heart and use the blade there, without relying on a platform-specific button prompt. What to expect in the Unmoored World
The Unmoored World is a post-game version of the familiar map, transformed rather than a separate game or DLC area. Red fog advances, the ocean recedes to expose traversable seafloor, and red beacons mark trials or encounters. These changes and objectives are described by Gamer Guides and Game8.

Prioritize objectives before the Seafloor Shrine beacon
The red beacon at the Seafloor Shrine is a point of no return for that run: interacting with it ends the game sequence. If you want to complete the available trials and rescues, postpone interacting with that beacon until you are ready to finish.
Manage the time pressure cautiously
The post-game is described as time-limited, with the red fog advancing. Exact timing and how resting affects the timer are not established consistently enough to give a universal day count or rest limit. As a cautious approach, prioritize objectives and avoid unnecessary rests rather than relying on a specific timer formula.
