Bohemia Interactive released Update 1.6 across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox on October 30, 2025. The update brought the Kolguyev setting and two distinct solo experiences: the Operation Omega campaign and the Air Support scenario. The official announcement described the Kolguyev content as live that day; the version 1.6.0.54 changelog lists both additions.
What is Operation Omega?
Operation Omega is a five-episode, story-led campaign in which you play as part of a special forces team operating behind enemy lines on Kolguyev. Bohemia’s official game page describes the covert mission as an effort to cripple Soviet defenses and prepare the island for an invasion.
The campaign is official Arma Reforger content introduced in Update 1.6, not a community mod. The announcement presents it as part of the update; it does not establish that Operation Omega is sold separately.

Operation Omega and Air Support: what’s the difference?

Can you play the campaign solo or offline?
Yes, Operation Omega is a single-player campaign, and Bohemia’s support information says scenarios and added campaigns can be played locally. That confirms local solo play, but it does not establish that every feature works offline or without an internet connection in every circumstance.

Bohemia identifies five episodes but does not publish an official completion-time estimate or a detailed episode-by-episode synopsis in the cited campaign materials. A playtime estimate would therefore be speculative.
