What are FragPunk Coins used for?
FragPunk Coins are the premium in-game currency. The PlayStation Store listing identifies them as virtual currency usable in FragPunk, while FragPunk’s official release FAQ, dated March 7, 2025, gives the Premium Battle Pass and membership benefits as examples of their role.

That FAQ listed a Premium Battle Pass price of 900 FragPunk Coins and said players who completed all its levels received those 900 Coins back. It also described a monthly membership with 1,200 FragPunk Coins and 10 Membership Tokens. These are the FAQ’s stated 2025 terms, not a guarantee that current pass prices or membership benefits remain the same. Confirm the offer shown in your game before spending.
The PlayStation listing establishes a platform-store route for Coins, but it does not establish one current price for every platform or region. Check the relevant platform store and in-game purchase screen for the amount and price applicable to you.

How do Gold and Glunite Coins differ?
Gold
Gold is an earned progression balance commonly used toward Lancer unlocks and some other items, according to the guide updated August 30, 2026. Dot Esports’ March 11, 2025 guide reported several ways to earn Gold, including matches, events, challenges, Battle Pass Tokens, Scavenger Imp, a daily bundle, codes, and mail. Those are routes reported at the time, not a promise that every route or rate is still available. Check current challenges, event pages, and reward menus in the game.
For scale only, Dot Esports reported about 190 Gold per standard match and 100 Gold for a daily win challenge in its 2025 guide. It also listed 50 Gold in a daily free bundle. These historical guide figures should not be treated as current guaranteed rewards.

Glunite Coins
Glunite Coins are distinct from both Gold and FragPunk Coins. The August 30, 2026 guide associates them with a generally common-cosmetic category, while official patch notes confirm Glunite Coins have been offered as event rewards. The sources establish neither a complete current item catalog nor current prices, so inspect the live store to see what Glunite Coins can buy now.
Dot Esports’ 2025 guide reported about 15 Glunite Coins per standard match and 50 in a daily free bundle. Those are dated guide amounts, not verified current rates.

What do Battle Pass Tokens buy?
Battle Pass Tokens are a redemption currency for the Battle Pass Store, not another name for FragPunk Coins. FragPunk’s March 7, 2025 FAQ says each overflow Battle Pass level awards 100 Battle Pass Tokens: “Each one nets you 100 Battle Pass Tokens, so your hard work pays off.” The FAQ lists eligible store rewards such as Gold, Skin Keys, decoration packs, sticker packs, and Original Pop Cans.
The same FAQ says purchases in that store have per-season limits that reset when a new chapter begins. Its item names reflect the FAQ’s 2025 wording; the later Skin Key change is important when reading older descriptions.

What changed about Skin Keys?
Older guides and the 2025 FAQ may refer separately to Lancer Skin Keys and Weapon Skin Keys. An official April 2025 update announcement says those were merged into a unified Skin Key. Use the unified name for the later system; do not assume two separate balances based on older text.
What are Membership Tokens?
Membership Tokens are a narrower reward token than FragPunk Coins: the official FAQ describes them as a way to unlock membership-only skins. Its March 2025 examples list 10 Membership Tokens with monthly membership and 50 with annual membership. Those are dated FAQ terms; check the current membership offer and its included rewards in-game.

Are event Coins the same as regular FragPunk Coins?
Official patch notes dated June 10, 2026 list an event reward of 1,000 “Limited-Time FragPunk Coins,” alongside Glunite Coins and Gold; the notes also list a separate 400-Glunite-Coin event reward. These are dated event examples, not evergreen earning rates. Because the notes identify the Coins as limited-time and do not establish their expiry or exact equivalence to the permanent balance, check the event’s own terms and the live wallet before relying on them.
What are Shard Points?
Shard Points are associated with activating Shard Cards during a match, rather than buying account-level items. Treat them as part of the match’s gameplay system, not as Gold, Glunite Coins, or FragPunk Coins. Exact current rules are not established by the sources cited here, so consult the in-game Shard Card interface for how they work in a particular match.
