What were the Monster Hunter Wilds pre-order bonuses?
Pre-orders of Monster Hunter Wilds were advertised with two shared rewards: the Guild Knight Set hunter layered armor and the Hope Charm talisman. PlayStation and Steam both listed these items as pre-order bonuses. Steam described the Guild Knight Set as layered armor, which changes the hunter’s appearance rather than functioning as regular armor equipment. PlayStation’s pre-order announcement and Steam’s announcement provide the platform-specific details.

PlayStation Store digital extra
Customers who pre-ordered the downloadable PS5 version from PlayStation Store also received the Monster Hunter Wilds Digital Mini Art Book, delivered as a separate app. PlayStation’s announcement attaches this extra to the PlayStation Store digital pre-order; it does not establish that physical PS5 pre-orders included it.
Steam’s deadline
Steam stated that its pre-order bonuses were available to customers who pre-ordered by February 28, 2025, at 4:59 a.m. UTC. That cutoff applies to the Steam offer; it should not be treated as a universal deadline for every platform or retailer.

Can you still pre-order Monster Hunter Wilds or claim the bonuses?
No. The game has already launched, and a new purchase today is not a pre-order. Treat the Guild Knight Set, Hope Charm, and PlayStation Store art-book app as historical promotions unless the platform or seller explicitly confirms a current offer. Capcom announced the worldwide February 28, 2025 release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in its release announcement.
For a physical copy, ask the retailer whether it is new or used and whether any included digital code is valid. The Japanese Capcom shop’s PS5 collector’s edition listing specified that its code flyer expired on February 27, 2026, and the listing showed the product as out of stock when accessed. This is a detail of that Japan-specific collector listing, not proof that every region or retailer used the same code terms. Check the Capcom Japan listing for its stated conditions.

What to check when buying the game now
- Choose the platform and format you want, then check that store’s current game page for the edition contents and availability.
- For a physical copy, confirm whether it is new or used and ask whether any advertised code is included, unredeemed, and still within its stated validity period.
- Do not assume a physical PS5 purchase includes the PlayStation Store Digital Mini Art Book; the documented offer was for PlayStation Store digital pre-orders.
- Compare the current listing’s exact contents rather than relying on launch-era edition names or bonus descriptions.
Capcom announced the game for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Its September 2024 announcement also described cross-play, but neither fact makes the former pre-order promotion available now.
