Look for an icon beside an enemy’s health bar: it marks a skill he has not learned. This guide explains the unlock method, gives the complete skill-name checklist, and separates those Nevron skills from Monoco’s three relationship-linked Gradient Attacks.
How Monoco learns skills
- Unlock Monoco. Complete Monoco’s Station in Act II; he joins the party afterward. Neoseeker’s Monoco guide gives this recruitment point.
- Keep him in the party when fighting Nevrons. When a Nevron has a skill Monoco has not learned, an icon appears beside its health bar. Defeat that enemy to acquire the skill. Gamer Guides describes the drop as guaranteed when the icon is present. Gamer Guides’ skill-location guide explains the indicator and unlock.
- Equip the skill if you want to use it. Learned skills can be equipped in the skill menu; the guide reports that six can be assigned to Monoco’s skill bar.
Monoco’s skills come from Nevron encounters, not from spending the Skill Points earned through leveling. Neoseeker also describes the collection mechanic as collecting feet from defeated Nevrons.

Representative Nevron encounters
Nevrons can appear in more than one place, so treat these as example routes rather than exclusive locations. The accessible location details in Gamer Guides identify the following encounters:
- Chalier Combo: Monoco starts with this skill.
- Gault Fury: A regular Gault south of Monoco’s Station.
- Sakapatate Estoc: A Ranger Sakapatate in Ancient Sanctuary.
- Braseleur Smash: A Braseleur on a small island northwest of Esoteric Ruins.
- Chevaliere Ice: Gold or Ceramic Chevalières.
- Danseuse Waltz: A Danseuse.
For these and other listed skills, use the health-bar icon as your practical check: if it appears, that enemy can teach Monoco a skill he is missing. The source guides do not establish one exclusive location for every Nevron, so this is not a complete one-enemy, one-location map.

Three additional Gradient Attacks
Gamer Guides treats Monoco’s three relationship-linked Gradient Attacks separately from the 46-skill Nevron checklist. They are tied to relationship progression and correspond to Gradient levels 1, 2, and 3. The Gradient system becomes available in Act II. If your Nevron checklist is complete but you are tracking every Monoco ability, check relationship progression as a separate task rather than searching for another Nevron drop.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to do if a skill is missing
- Confirm Monoco has joined after completing Monoco’s Station in Act II.
- Bring him into the party for Nevron encounters and watch for the unlearned-skill icon beside the enemy’s health bar.
- Defeat an enemy marked with that icon, then review Monoco’s skill menu.
- If all 46 Nevron skills are present, check the separate relationship-linked Gradient Attacks rather than treating them as missing entries in the 46-skill count.
The 46-skill count and core unlock method are consistent across Gamer Guides, updated January 10, 2026, and Neoseeker. Post-story availability is claimed in the video guide description, but the available guide information does not independently establish that every skill remains obtainable after the story in every current build; use the in-game checklist and marked encounters to confirm your save.
