The checklist below groups their locations by region and flags the two spots that award two ashes at once. Check statues, hanging bodies and notable enemies as well as glowing pickups.
You spend these ashes at a Site of Grace to raise the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing. The blessing strengthens summoned spirits and Torrent, but its effect applies only in expansion areas. Bandai Namco’s official guide explains the blessing and its sources. Shadow of the Erdtree requires the base game; Bandai Namco also lists a combined edition containing both, but verify the platform and edition before buying.
Revered Spirit Ash locations map and checklist
Use the region checklist to track the 25 items. Some guide labels differ for areas near subregion borders, so the nearest Site of Grace or named landmark is included where useful. A location marked 2 ashes accounts for two items at one stop.
For an interactive overview, open the Elden Ring Interactive Map and search for “Revered Spirit Ash.” Its listing reports 25 locations and identifies the two double-reward pins. The map is a third-party guide, not an official FromSoftware map; use the checklist below for access clues and item type.

Gravesite Plain and Belurat, Tower Settlement
- Church of Consolation / Scorched Ruins: Search the early Gravesite Plain area around the Church of Consolation and Scorched Ruins for a ground pickup.
- Cliffroad Terminus: The ash is on the route toward Cliffroad Terminus. Reach the area by following the path from Three-Path Cross; check the nearby cliffside rather than relying on a map pin alone.
- Abandoned Ailing Village: Search the village for a pickup.
- Ellac River Cave: Look inside the cave for a pickup.
- Belurat, scorpion room — 2 ashes: Find the room with scorpions in Belurat, Tower Settlement; both ashes are pickups in this location.
- Belurat rooftops: A fleeing pot carrier drops an ash. Follow it across the rooftops and defeat it to claim the item.
- Belurat statue: Search the statue in the settlement for an ash.
- After the Divine Beast Dancing Lion: Continue beyond the boss area and search for the ash associated with this part of Belurat.
Scadu Altus and Shadow Keep
- Moorth Ruins: Search the ruins for a pickup.
- Bonny Village: Look around the village for a pickup.
- Shadow Keep, Storehouse first floor: The ash is on a statue reached by climbing through the Storehouse. This is a vertical-route pickup, not a straightforward ground-level find.
- Shadow Keep, Storehouse seventh floor: Search the hanging carcass for an ash.
- Ruins of Unte: Access this area by taking the concealed route through Shadow Keep, then search the ruins for the ash.
- Village of Flies: Find the village in the route toward the Abyssal Woods and search for a pickup. Guides group this location under different neighboring-region headings, so the in-game landmark is the more reliable label.
Rauh Base and Ancient Ruins of Rauh
- Temple Town Ruins: Search the ruins in Rauh Base for a pickup.
- Ancient Ruins of Rauh, western approach: Check the western side of the ruins; one location is associated with an enemy drop.
- Ancient Ruins of Rauh, eastern approach: Search the eastern route and its landmarks for the ash, including the statue pickup noted by the location guides.
Abyssal Woods and Midra’s Manse
- Village of Flies: The same landmark may be grouped under Abyssal Woods by interactive-map listings and under the route toward the woods by other guides. Search the village itself and do not count different regional labels as separate items.
- Midra’s Manse, enemy drop: Defeat the notable enemy associated with the ash to receive it.
- Midra’s Manse, hanging body: Near a Site of Grace, inspect the hanging body for the second manse-area ash.
Enir-Ilim
- First Rise courtyard: Defeat the notable enemy in the courtyard to obtain its ash.
- Lower tree and altar area — 2 ashes: Search the lower area around the tree and altar for the two-item reward.
- Spiral Rise: Reach the rooftop/chapel route and search there for the ash. This requires progressing through Enir-Ilim’s vertical paths.
How to use the ashes
- Rest at any Site of Grace in the Realm of Shadow.
- Choose the option to increase the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing and spend the ashes you have collected.
- Use the blessing in expansion areas to improve the damage dealt and negated by summoned spirits and Torrent.
The blessing is not a general upgrade for the base-game map: its effect is restricted to the expansion’s areas.
