Farming Simulator 25 has more than one kind of “product”: crops and other farm inputs, animal-derived goods, forestry materials, and items made in production facilities. Below is the official base-game crop and animal roster, followed by a practical map of representative production chains and their outputs. It is a useful guide to the base game, not an exhaustive catalog of every add-on, update, or mod.
What counts as a product in Farming Simulator 25?
A product can be something you harvest or collect, an input you deliver to a facility, or an output that facility creates. A production chain links those stages: for example, wood can go to a sawmill, which makes planks that can then be used by another facility. GIANTS Software describes production chains as adding variety to the game’s logistics; the practical work is moving the right inputs to the right place and handling the resulting goods.

Greenhouse produce
GIANTS Software’s official press-center description also names spring onions, garlic, and chili as greenhouse produce. Treat these as useful product examples, not as a complete list of greenhouse recipes or outputs.

How the main production chains work
The Field Manual 25 production-chain index lists 16 base-game production entries and labels its source ledger as verified for patch 1.21.1.0. Its routes provide a helpful directory, but the count is specific to that index and patch; it is not an official count of every facility across all editions, add-ons, and mods.
These are representative route families from that index. The listed inputs and outputs describe route examples, not guaranteed recipes or quantities for every save.
Rank #3
| Facility or route | Inputs | Example outputs |
|---|---|---|
| Grain mill | Grains and rice | Flour and rice flour |
| Dairy | Milk variants and ingredients | Cheese, butter, bottled milk, and chocolate |
| Sugar mill | Sugar beet or sugarcane | Sugar |
| Oil mill | Canola, sunflower, or olives | Cooking oils |
| Sawmill and carpentry | Wood | Planks, beams, prefab walls, and furniture |
| Paper factory | Wood | Paper and carton rolls |
| Spinnery and tailor | Wool or cotton | Fabric and clothes |
| Soup and canning factories | Vegetables and rice | Soups, canned soup, and preserved foods |
| Cement factory | Stones | Cement products |
| Cooper | Planks | Barrels, tubs, and buckets |
| Potato processing | Potatoes, rice, and oil | Chips and rice rolls |
| Rope maker | Wool or cotton | Rope |
| Grape processing | Grapes | Juice and raisins |
| Bakery | Flour and other ingredients | Bread and cake |
| Biogas plant | Slurry, manure, silage, or cut beet | Digestate and energy value |
A community-maintained product reference names additional examples including canola, olive, and sunflower oils; flour; furniture; paper rolls; preserved foods; rice products; sugar; and wood products. Those examples help show the range of goods, but neither reference should be read as an official, consolidated catalog of all current content.

- Check the recipe in your save. Open the production menu for the facility and confirm which inputs it accepts and what it produces. Do not assume a named route has the same recipe in every version or edition.
- Trace the full route. Identify the raw input, the first facility, and any follow-on facility needed to turn an intermediate good into a finished product. For example, the index lists wood going to a sawmill or carpentry route for materials such as planks, and a cooper using planks for barrels, tubs, and buckets.
- Plan delivery and storage. A chain is also a logistics commitment: you need access to its inputs, a way to transport them, and a plan for collecting or selling the output. Facility availability can vary by save or edition.
- Compare routes using your own conditions. Consider input availability, the number of processing stages, facility requirements, throughput, and current market prices. The references here do not establish a universally most profitable chain, and they do not provide a comparable set of yields, costs, and time assumptions for ranking every route.
What is not included in the base-game lists
There is no single official, current catalog in the cited references that combines every output from the base game, all released DLC, updates, and mods. The crop and animal roster above is from GIANTS Software; the route table is a representative, patch-labeled community index. Use the in-game production menu and the official content list for your edition when a particular product or recipe matters.
