Anime Vanguards Update 1.5, titled Aliens and Spirits, was reported released on November 22, 2024. Its headline addition was the Occult Event, with an Occult Dungeon, Talismans, Spirit Wisps, event modifiers, a shop and a banner. The update log also lists five new units and a skins system.
What was added in Update 1.5?
The community-maintained update log lists these features for Aliens and Spirits (1.5):
- An Occult Event built around the Occult Dungeon.
- Talismans and Spirit Wisps.
- Starting, Additive and Unique modifiers.
- An Occult Shop and Occult Banner.
- A skins system for customizing unit appearances.
- Five new units: Divalo (Requiem), Saiko (Spirit Medium), Pweeny (Boxer), Okorun (Turbo) and Mimi (Psychic).
The log identifies the displayed forms above; it separately lists evolved and normal forms for some units, so these names should not be read as a complete evolution roster. The update log is community-maintained rather than an official developer record.
What was the Occult Event?
The update log groups the Occult Dungeon, Talismans, Spirit Wisps and three modifier categories—Starting, Additive and Unique—as the event’s gameplay systems. It also lists the Occult Shop and Occult Banner as event features. A secondary guide describes Spirit Wisps as event currency and associates the shop and banner with event rewards, but the precise mechanics and modifier names are not established by the update log. GuideBros’ event guide offers that additional context; treat specific gameplay details as secondary-source descriptions.

How did the skins system fit in?
Update 1.5 introduced a system for customizing unit appearances. The update log and the secondary guide both associate skins with the Occult Banner, though the available records do not establish exact acquisition rules or whether every skin came from it.
When did Update 1.5 release?
The update log dates Aliens and Spirits to November 22, 2024. Beebom reported that the official trailer set release for 1:00 p.m. Pacific / 4:00 p.m. Eastern that day; that timing is Beebom’s account of the trailer, rather than a directly verified developer announcement. Beebom’s release-time report provides the timing.
Did the update include bug fixes?
A complete, Update 1.5-specific bug-fix list is not established in the available update-log excerpt. A secondary guide characterizes the update as including small optimizations and bug fixes, but does not provide a verified inventory. No individual fix should be attributed to 1.5 on that basis.

The limited-modes listing is a community source.
