Fortnite’s eighth-birthday Birthday Presents were a limited-time item in Fortnite OG, not a current event or a general Chapter 6, Season 4 guide. The event ended on September 30, 2025. During it, presents could spawn as floor loot, in regular chests, or in supply drops—but none of those sources guaranteed one.
Where Birthday Presents spawned in Fortnite OG
A third-party event guide updated September 23, 2025 reported that Birthday Presents were Legendary-tier loot in Fortnite OG. It listed three possible sources:

- Floor loot
- Regular loot chests
- Supply drops
For more opportunities to find one, the guide recommended searching dense named locations such as Salty Springs or Greasy Grove, checking both floor loot and chests, and watching for supply drops. These are route suggestions, not confirmed spawn points: a present was not guaranteed to appear.
Players asked, “Where do I find birthday presents????” and “Anybody else having trouble finding presents?” Those posts reflect individual players’ experiences; they do not establish how frequently presents spawned.

How to use a Birthday Present
The event guide described Birthday Presents as throwable items. Throwing one deployed a large gift-box structure. To get to the contents, break a wall with your Pickaxe; alternatively, drop the present at your feet to spawn inside the box. The guide also reported a stack capacity of five and high-rarity weapons and event items among the possible contents. Those details come from a third-party guide, not an official Epic specification for the 2025 Battle Royale event.
Epic’s Creative documentation independently classifies Birthday Presents as portable items that can be thrown to a desired location. It describes them in Creative as an item bundle that can help in combat and provide cover, and says they stack to five in that context. This documentation supports the general portable-item description, but does not independently confirm every Battle Royale mechanic reported for the 2025 event. Read Epic’s Fortnite Creative documentation on portable items.

Birthday quests reported for the event
The event guide listed six limited-time objectives. The reviewed sources did not include an official Epic post confirming the complete 2025 quest lineup, so treat these as objectives reported by that guide.
- Search eight containers before damaging a player in a single match.
- Dance by a birthday cake at a named location.
- Throw three Birthday Presents.
- Ascend 80 meters using Balloons.
- Eat birthday-cake slices at named locations. The guide said you needed missing health or shields to consume a slice.
- Thank the bus driver at the start of a match to wish them a happy birthday.
A practical route for the three-Present objective
- Land at a chest-dense Fortnite OG named location, such as Salty Springs or Greasy Grove.
- Open chests while checking nearby floor loot rather than relying on one source.
- If a supply drop is practical to reach, check it too.
- Once you find presents, throw three to complete the reported Presents objective.
Searching multiple loot sources increases the number of opportunities, but the guide did not report a route that guarantees a present. The objective count of three is a quest requirement, not a statistic about spawn rates.

- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.

Keep Fortnite OG locations separate from Chapter 6, Season 4
A separate Prima Games guide dated September 24, 2025 covered Birthday Presents in Chapter 6, Season 4. It also reported floor loot, chests, and supply drops as possible sources, but gave location advice for that season’s different map. Do not transfer those locations to Fortnite OG. The OG event guide is the relevant source for the September 2025 birthday-event route described here.

No. The cited event guide says the eighth-birthday event ended September 30, 2025. Its item locations and quest steps are historical guidance, not instructions for finding Birthday Presents in Fortnite now.
