EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS is easy to start playing: its swing is built around three button presses to set power and accuracy. But that approachable input is not the same as broad accessibility. Timing, precision, wind, slopes and spin add challenge, while reviewers describe the available accessibility options as limited.
What is EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS?
Developed by Hyde and published by Bandai Namco, EVERYBODY’S GOLF HOT SHOTS arrived in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PC. The series was previously associated with PlayStation and developer Clap Hanz; Nintendo Life describes this release as the first time it moved beyond PlayStation. Nintendo Life’s Switch review is dated September 3, 2025, and its listing gives September 5, 2025 as the Switch release date. TechRadar’s review also lists the three platforms.

Is the golf easy to pick up?
The basic swing is legible: press once to begin, again to set power, and a third time to determine accuracy. That makes the first shot easier to understand than a control scheme built around many separate inputs. It does not remove the need to learn the game’s timing. Spin, wind and course slopes affect shot choices, and character progression adds abilities and development. Nintendo Life describes the gameplay as accessible while also noting demands for precision and timing, particularly on Switch. Its review presents the simple swing as an entry point, not a guarantee that every shot will be easy.
What accessibility options are available?
TechRadar characterizes the game as “light in the accessibility department,” while noting a gimme-putt setting and several shot-gauge styles. With the gimme-putt setting, a ball close enough to the hole can be putted automatically, even if the result is past bogey. Gauge alternatives give players options beyond the default three-point button system. TechRadar’s review is the source for those reported options.

#1 Best Overall
- The Classic Gameplay Everybody Loves The three-button shot mechanic lets anybody jump in and begin playing - just aim, time the three button presses, and hit the perfect shot! It's easy to learn yet challenging to master.
- Play Solo or With Friends Play solo and climb the ranks in Challenge Mode or sharpen your skills to beat your personal record in Solo Rounds. You can also enjoy local Multiplayer Mode with up to 4 players on a single controller or compete online against golfers worldwide, with more modes to discover!
- A New Tee-rific Game Mode For even more excitement, try Wacky Golf - a unique twist on golf that everybody can enjoy together.
These are useful adjustments to particular parts of play, but the available review descriptions do not establish whether the game supports control remapping or provide a comprehensive assessment of visual, auditory, cognitive or motor accessibility. The features named here should not be taken as a full accessibility audit.
What modes can you play?
Challenge mode
Challenge mode includes short tournaments and versus matches. Wins help level characters and unlock courses, giving these rounds a progression loop.
World Tour
World Tour puts golf rounds inside a story-driven structure, offering a solo-focused way to move through the game.
Wacky Golf
Wacky Golf changes the usual rules and adds obstacles, with variations such as club stealing and “boom golf.” Nintendo Life found these novelties less compelling than the core golf. Read its review for the mode descriptions and assessment.
Is the Switch version a good choice?
Switch offers portability, but the performance evidence available here is a dated review observation rather than a current comparison across platforms. In its September 2025 review, Nintendo Life reported uneven performance on Switch and said visual smoothness mattered because the swing depends on timing. The reviewer found the game noticeably better on Switch 2 in testing, but reported that its overall frame rate was not improved. Those findings describe that review’s experience; check current patches and the version you intend to play before deciding based on performance.
TechRadar reviewed the PS5 version, and the game is also listed for PC, but the available reviews do not establish a current performance ranking across all three platforms. Choose based on whether portability matters, which hardware you own and how responsive the timing feels on your setup.
Is there a physical Nintendo Switch edition?
Nintendo Life’s Switch listing provides regional price and purchase information, making it a place to check for the physical edition. Availability and price can vary by region and change over time, so confirm the current listing for your location. Nintendo Life’s game listing is the relevant source.
