That broader total is not an official count: an Insider Gaming guide published March 31, 2025 lists only 10 optional bosses, so the side-boss tally varies by source.
How many bosses are in The First Berserker: Khazan?
The clearest confirmed count for the campaign is 16 story bosses. PlayStation’s US product description specifically says Berserker’s Bloodshed lets players take on “all 16 bosses in a row.” GamingBolt also lists 16 main bosses, then adds 22 optional encounters in its April 21, 2025 guide. That makes 38 known bosses using GamingBolt’s broader roster, not a total officially confirmed by the game’s publisher.
The difference is in the optional content: Insider Gaming’s March 31, 2025 guide lists 10 optional bosses, ending with Failed Creation, while GamingBolt continues with 12 additional names. The sources do not explain the discrepancy, so the two optional counts should not be treated as interchangeable.
