Hints for Connections #663
Connections asks you to sort 16 words into four groups of four based on a shared link. The New York Times says each puzzle has one solution, though words can appear to fit more than one category. The color groups broadly move from easiest to hardest: yellow, green, blue, then purple.
- Yellow: The remains.
- Green: Journey by road.
- Blue: Places for a home run.
- Purple: Missing a letter.

Connections is available on the NYT Games website and in NYT apps. A new daily puzzle releases at midnight in the player’s timezone. The official archive reaches back to June 12, 2023, and access requires an All Access or Games subscription. An NYT account is required to track archive progress; archive play affects some statistics but not current or maximum streaks, and a completed archived puzzle cannot be replayed.
