In Escape From Duckov, the Hidden Secret quest sends you to two entrances: a passage in a house south of the Ravine on Warehouse and a second entrance at the western edge of Western Factory. The official quest listing specifies one Cellar Key, but a walkthrough says each door consumes a key, so the total needed to open both is not settled. Bring the in-game Gas Mask for the Ravine-side gas hazard.
Where to find the Cellar Key
The official Hidden Secret quest listing identifies the quest as a Warehouse District quest and lists Cellar Key ×1. It does not give a key location, so the available source information does not establish where to pick one up. Check your inventory and the current quest or map markers rather than relying on an unverified location.
Keep the generic Cellar Key distinct from similarly named items. An October 2025 walkthrough distinguishes it from the Cellar Fence Key and Cellar Crossroads Key, but that distinction is documented by a secondary source, not confirmed in the official quest excerpt: All Things How’s guide.
How to open the Ravine-side Hidden Secret door
- Go to the house south of the Ravine on Warehouse. The official quest briefing describes a mysterious passage in a room on the south side of the Ravine. Walkthroughs identify the entrance as a trapdoor in the floor of a large house; that specific landmark comes from guides rather than the official quest excerpt.
- Equip the in-game Gas Mask before entering. The official briefing warns of a serious poison-gas leak, and walkthroughs recommend a Gas Mask. This is game equipment for the fictional hazard, not real-world safety advice.
- Use the Cellar Key at the entrance and follow the Hidden Secret objective. The official listing describes two objectives to reach designated locations; it does not provide more detailed room-by-room directions.
The quest briefing’s wording is: “I’ve investigated and found a mysterious passage in the room on the south side of the ravine. Due to the serious poison gas leak there, it is difficult to conduct a detailed investigation. If you have a gas mask, can you help me investigate it?” The listing does not identify the speaker by name or role.

- Head to the far western edge of Western Factory. Walkthroughs report the second Hidden Secret entrance there; this location is not confirmed in the available official quest excerpt.
- Use a Cellar Key at the entrance if the current build prompts you for one. Follow the objective marker or on-screen interaction prompt, since the official listing does not spell out the Factory-side route.
The sources do not establish a comparable hazard for this entrance or provide reliable side-by-side loot or efficiency details for the two routes.
How many Cellar Keys do you need?
The number is unresolved. The official quest listing lists Cellar Key ×1, while the All Things How walkthrough says each of the two doors consumes a key and recommends two. Because these accounts conflict, do not assume one key will open both or that two are always required. Check the item count and door behavior in your current game build before making a second trip.

GameTrek’s walkthrough, last updated November 11, 2025, says Power Supply Maintenance is a prerequisite and lists rewards of 1,500 EXP and 1,000 in-game currency. Those details are guide-reported; the official listing excerpt does not show them.
