In FischFright 2025, Beatrix, the Fisch Witch, awarded the Spooky Rod after players turned in 10 Witch’s Ingredients at Crook’s Hallow. The event is documented as a seasonal, FischFright-only way to obtain the rod; these references do not confirm that the quest is available in 2026, so check the live game before setting out.
How to complete the Fisch Witch quest
- Find Beatrix at Crook’s Hallow. The FischFright 2025 event page places the Fisch Witch there. FischFright 2025 event details.
- Earn Witch’s Ingredients from Goblin quests. During the event, Goblins spawned at different islands. The event reference says harder quests awarded more ingredients, but does not list every quest variant or its exact reward.
- Submit 10 ingredients to Beatrix. This is the documented Spooky Rod milestone. The reward steps before it are 1 ingredient for an Eyeball Bobber, 3 for a Coffin Lantern, 5 for a Gravestone Bobber, and 8 for a title; they are milestones along the same turn-in path, not additional requirements beyond reaching 10. - Confirm the event is active in your game. The available references describe FischFright 2025 as historical and do not establish a 2026 rerun. The seasonal events reference provides event context, but is not confirmation that this quest is currently open.
What the Spooky Rod is reported to do
The Fisch Wiki’s Spooky Rod page, updated September 25, 2026, lists 75% lure speed, 66% luck, 0.2 control, -10% resilience, and a 150,000 kg maximum weight. These are wiki-reported values, not independently tested results. Spooky Rod stats and acquisition.
The same page reports a passive with a 50% chance per second to burn and stop a fish while filling 4% of the progress bar, a 10% chance each for the Frightful, Spooky, and Eerie mutations, and +5% progress speed. It describes the rod as able to catch FischFright mutations year-round. That potential use applies to players who already have it; the page describes acquisition as FischFright-only and does not confirm a current route for new players. Is it worth pursuing?
The documented route requires collecting and submitting 10 ingredients, with harder Goblin quests reported to award more. The rod’s listed passive and mutation chances may interest players who want those effects outside the seasonal event, while its -10% resilience is a listed drawback. Whether the time investment makes sense depends on your priorities; these sources do not provide a current comparison with other rods.
