LEGO Fortnite Odyssey’s NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja update went live on December 11, 2025. Epic’s Korean-language announcement specified Eastern Time, while its English announcement gave the date but no launch hour or time zone. Epic also announced a second NINJAGO update for 2026, but the reviewed announcement did not give a specific date.
When did NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja come out in Fortnite?
Epic Games announced on December 9, 2025 that LEGO Fortnite Odyssey’s NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja would go live on December 11, 2025. That launch date has passed. Epic’s English announcement names the date without specifying a time zone or launch hour.
The official Korean-language announcement specifies December 11 in U.S. Eastern Time. Neither source provides a precise release hour, so a more exact time should not be inferred from the date alone.
What is the NINJAGO update?
Rise of the Ninja is an update to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, not a standalone physical LEGO product. Epic describes a NINJAGO Island adventure in which players develop elemental abilities, learn Spinjitzu, and fight with Nunchucks and Shurikens. The Monastery serves as a home base, with Ice, Lightning, and Earth Sanctums to explore. Epic’s announcement and its LEGO Fortnite Odyssey destination page provide the official overview.

The official material reviewed here does not establish whether that follow-up has launched by October 4, 2026. Check a newer Epic release notice for its current status rather than treating the year-only announcement as a confirmed date.
Is NINJAGO content available to buy?
Epic’s announcement described an optional purchasable NINJAGO LEGO Pass, which automatically unlocks Kai’s Outfit and offers three premium build rewards as players progress. It also said Zane, Jay, and Cole Outfits would be available in the Fortnite Shop. These are in-game purchase references; they do not change the update’s release timing.
