The Afterglow Pendant is claimed from Qinghe’s exploration rewards after reaching Qinghe Exploration Level 4—reported by Game8 as 4,000 Qinghe Exploration Points. It is not a fixed-world pickup. After claiming it, return to Master Qiu Yuehai near Moonveil Mountain and show him the pendant to continue the Afterglow quest.
How to get the Afterglow Pendant
- Track the Afterglow quest. Use the quest tracker to orient yourself toward Master Qiu Yuehai in the Moonveil Mountain area of Qinghe. Game8’s walkthrough and Moonveil Mountain guide identify him as the fisherman NPC involved in the quest. The linked pages describe the route and interaction; follow the active in-game tracker for your current objective.
- Reach Qinghe Exploration Level 4. Game8 reports the requirement as 4,000 Qinghe Exploration Points. Treat that number as guide-reported, rather than an independently confirmed official threshold.
- Claim the reward. Open Qinghe’s exploration rewards interface and claim the Afterglow Pendant milestone. Guides describe it as a regional exploration reward, not an item waiting in a chest or on the ground.
- Return to Qiu Yuehai. Go back to the fisherman near Moonveil Mountain and show or submit the pendant to advance the quest.
What the pendant unlocks—and what it does not
The quest and pendant have related but distinct jobs: the Afterglow quest introduces a Lightness Skill, while the pendant enables Lightness Skills in Qinghe. Learning a skill does not necessarily mean it can be used freely in that region before meeting its pendant requirement. The Qinghe pendant is region-specific; it does not unlock Lightness Skills everywhere.
If Qiu Yuehai is not appearing
First check that the Afterglow quest is active in your tracker and that you are looking around Moonveil Mountain in Qinghe. These are basic navigation checks, not a confirmed fix for an NPC-absence bug. The available player question about a missing fisherman does not establish why he might be absent or identify a reliable workaround.
Version and requirement caveat
The 4,000-point threshold and reward sequence are reported by game guides; no official developer source is available here to independently confirm them. Another guide labels its balance version unverified, so patch-sensitive details may differ. Check the in-game Qinghe exploration rewards screen for the requirement currently shown in your build.
