Acclaim’s first Play Acclaim showcase, held September 10, 2025, presented nine games spanning rhythm action, arcade basketball, roguelites, cleaning challenges, snowboarding, and Metroidvania-style exploration. At the time, Basketball Classics and Katanaut were described as available on PC; Steam currently lists both, while the event’s TBA labels for the other games are historical and do not establish their present availability.
What Acclaim showed at Play Acclaim
The September 10, 2025 showcase was Acclaim’s first event under the Play Acclaim banner. Its nine-game lineup moved between familiar genres and more unusual premises, from a rhythm-based cyber dungeon to a pig with a power washer. The event recap listed PC and consoles as planned platforms for the lineup, but that announcement is not a current platform or release-status guide. Insider Gaming’s recap of the showcase records what was presented that day.
The nine games, in showcase order
1. GRIDbeat!
GRIDbeat! is a rhythm-fueled cyber dungeon crawler set inside Knoss.OS, a heavily fortified corporate network. The player evades security protocols and malware by moving in sync with the music, making timing part of both the action and escape.

Why Acclaim was presenting new games
Acclaim returned as a publisher under new ownership in March 2025. At relaunch, the company said it intended to support independent studios and original IP while rekindling classics for a new generation; Alex Josef was named CEO in that announcement. This describes the relaunch direction, not a guarantee that every activity since then follows the same strategy. Insider Gaming’s March 2025 report on Acclaim’s return
