To finish Feral Hunter, collect Access Codes B and C from the linked Thanator hunts, then get Access Code A at Research Station Alpha. Use the SID to open the three locked rooms, search their crates, listen to their audio logs, and hack the exit. You may need to advance the story first: the quest’s steps span Kinglor Forest, the Upper Plains, and the Clouded Forest.
Why you may not be able to finish Feral Hunter yet
Feral Hunter begins after you encounter a Hunter-named Thanator. Hunter Bravo, encountered during Deadly Hunt in Kinglor Forest, is the first such target in the walkthrough’s route. The full chain also involves hunts in the Upper Plains and Clouded Forest, so reaching the quest’s conclusion depends on regional and linked-quest progress. If a target or NPC is missing, continue the active story and follow your current quest objectives.

The three access codes can be collected in any order. It is usually more convenient to leave Access Code A until last because it is inside Research Station Alpha, where you use all three codes.
Get Access Code B from Hunter Bravo
- Continue the Deadly Hunt sequence in Kinglor Forest until you encounter Hunter Bravo.
- Defeat the Thanator, then use the SID on its body to retrieve Access Code B.
This early encounter is also the point associated with starting Feral Hunter.

Get Access Code C from Hunter Echo
- Progress the Severed Bonds quest sequence in the Upper Plains until you reach Hunter Echo.
- Defeat Hunter Echo and continue to the next required feral Thanator in the sequence.
- After defeating that second target, use the SID on its body to reveal Access Code C.
Severed Bonds is repeatable, but the described chain requires one completion. Quest timing and target availability can depend on your progress; use the active objective as your guide if the hunt is not available.

- Travel to Research Station Alpha in the Clouded Forest.
- Defeat the feral Thanator at or within the facility.
- Use the SID to scan and hack the signal on its body to obtain Access Code A.
This Thanator may be above the quest’s level. Bring healing items and strong equipment before attempting the fight.
Open the three rooms and complete the facility
- Return to the large room containing the three locked doors.
- Use the SID on the panel beside each door, then open the room with its corresponding access code.
- In each room, search the large crate and listen to the audio log. The walkthrough identifies all three crates and logs as part of the intended completion sequence.
- When finished, use the SID on the node beneath the computer to open the large doors.
- Go through the doors and take the lift outside.
