For ordinary Dawnsheen Branches, search the Boulderlands biome in the Clouded Forest. For Superior or Exquisite branches, head to Stone Sentinels in the southwestern part of Cradling Pines, then search the high ground and work down the cliffs. Na’vi Sense helps you check a tree’s quality before harvesting.
Where to find ordinary Dawnsheen Branches
Look in the Boulderlands, a biome in the Clouded Forest. Dawnsheen trees tend to grow at higher elevations, so check elevated ground rather than staying on the low paths. The Gamer Guides location guide, last updated 4 April 2025, also notes that Fine branches may appear on high cliffs in the southwestern Upper Plains. That can be an option before you reach the Clouded Forest.

Where to find Superior and Exquisite Dawnsheen Branches
For the rarer variants, travel to Stone Sentinels, in the southwestern corner of Cradling Pines in the Clouded Forest. Start at the higher elevations and search down the cliffside. The community-maintained resource table also lists the top of Stone Sentinels in the south of the Clouded Forest as an Exquisite location.
A Stormglider patrols near the western or northern half of Stone Sentinels, according to Gamer Guides; its guide advises searching the opposite half. Enemy behavior may vary with game updates, so treat that as a route suggestion, not a guarantee.

How to harvest the best-quality branch
- Use Na’vi Sense to inspect a Dawnsheen tree and check the branch’s quality before you harvest it.
- When gathering, pull the branch to the left for a pristine harvest.
- Look for branches during rain, which Gamer Guides and the community-maintained resource table identify as the best-quality condition.
What Dawnsheen Branches are used for
Dawnsheen Branch is a longbow crafting material. Gamer Guides also lists any quality of branch for the Welcoming Hearth Na’vi Camp Community Contribution, while the Maker tree’s Apex Skill requires an Exquisite branch.
