The official Season 5.5 patch notes, published December 9, 2025, set the update start for December 12 at 09:00 UTC. They estimated maintenance at two hours. That figure describes the planned maintenance duration; the notes do not establish the exact time service resumed.
What came with the Rogue update?
Rogue joined as a Vanguard
NetEase’s announcement confirmed Rogue’s playable debut in Season 5.5 and identified her role as Vanguard. Her abilities let her absorb powers from defeated enemy heroes and gain buffs tied to their roles; she may also steal signature abilities. Her Ultimate drains nearby opponents’ Ultimate Ability Energy and grants additional role-based buffs. The announcement describes situational ability absorption, not unrestricted access to any ability at will.
Other additions and fixes
The patch notes also list new Rogue lore, the Seeds of the Gardener event with an Iron Man – Mark I costume reward, spectator options, additional “Take a Seat” emotes, Rogue and Rocket Raccoon store offerings, Twitch Drops, a Gold-tier Rogue costume reward, and fixes across platforms and heroes. Where was Marvel Rivals available?
The official release FAQ lists Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Epic Store, and Loading Bay. Its PC requirements are guidance published in December 2024, not a current system-requirement check.
