To craft Bunny Day items in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, learn a DIY recipe, collect the egg types and quantities it lists, then use a DIY workbench. This guide lists the recipes and materials documented below, explains how recipes are obtained, and covers the final-day Zipper T. Bunny sequence. Recipe totals vary by source and category, so an itemized list is more reliable than one headline count.
How to craft Bunny Day items
- Learn the recipe. Recipes may come from balloons or message bottles, villagers, collecting eggs, or Zipper T. Bunny, depending on the item.
- Collect the listed materials. Bunny Day uses six egg types: earth, stone, leaf, wood, sky, and water. Match both the type and quantity in the recipe.
- Use a DIY workbench. Select the learned recipe and craft it once the required materials are in your inventory. Nintendo describes the general process as learning recipes, gathering materials, and crafting them: Create your getaway.

Where Bunny Day recipes come from
- Balloons and message bottles: Many furniture and decor recipes—including the fence, garland, rug, stool, table, wall, flooring, clock, wardrobe, vanity, and wreath—are obtained this way.
- Villagers: The Bunny Day Bag and Bunny Day Crown recipes are described as villager gifts.
- Egg collecting: Egg-specific shells, outfits, and shoes are learned while collecting eggs.
- Zipper T. Bunny: Zipper gives select recipes, including the bed and recipes tied to the event’s final-day progression.
These routes are summarized in the iMore recipe guide. The available sources do not establish detailed locations or farming routes for each egg type, so check the in-game recipe and event instructions rather than relying on an unverified location list.

The same guide describes a Bunny Day Basket reward for bringing Zipper one of each of the six eggs. A 2020 excerpt from the Official Companion Guide: April Update also records the Wobbling Zipper Toy recipe as a reward for crafting each Bunny Day recipe, excluding clothing. That is historical event documentation, not a current calendar announcement.

Why recipe totals differ
Do not treat a single total as definitive without specifying which categories it counts. The iMore page says 40 recipes in its opening and recipe section, but 37 in its closing passage. Nookipedia’s table includes clothing and special Zipper recipes, which may account for different category boundaries; the available references do not settle the discrepancy. Use the named item list and its categories to check what you still need rather than assuming one unqualified total.
