The free Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land collaboration pack featuring TEKKEN-themed content was released on July 23, 2025. It adds quests, a Reina costume, a Heihachi Wig accessory and two finishing moves—not playable TEKKEN characters. The crossover also went the other way: TEKKEN 8 began receiving free Atelier Yumia cosmetics on July 8, 2025.
What is in the Atelier Yumia collaboration pack?
The pack includes collaboration quests, a Reina collaboration costume for Yumia, a Heihachi Wig accessory and two TEKKEN series collaboration Maximized Mana Surges, described by KOEI TECMO America as finishing moves. The official listings do not say that Reina or Heihachi becomes playable in Atelier Yumia.
The collaboration was announced on March 20, 2025, with a commemorative illustration of Yumia and TEKKEN 8 character Reina. The announcement described the content as future free DLC; the pack itself followed on July 23, 2025. KOEI TECMO America’s release announcement and the Nintendo US listing give the release details.
How to unlock and use the content
You need the base game, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. Nintendo’s US listing specifies the quest progression for its Switch version:

The strength of an item's power depends on the materials used in synthesis, so select your materials carefully while assessing the power of the embedded mana
- A captivating variety of actions with “range” and “items”
- In real-time combat, you'll be tested on your ability to make split-second decisions. Utilise two types of attack ranges ("range") and switch between skills to fight strategically. Additionally, synthesised items can transform into shapes such as swords or spears, which can be used to attack. Since these items are reusable, don't hesitate to deploy them and drive away enemies that stand in your way.
- Progress through the main quest “Lying in Wait.”
- Clear “Lying in Wait” to unlock the normal quest “Letter of Challenge.”
- Complete “Letter of Challenge” before using the collaboration items.
- To use the costume, unlock base building and place a Dressing Room.
These are the requirements stated on the Nintendo Switch pack listing; check the relevant platform store for details that apply to your version.
Is the Atelier Yumia TEKKEN DLC free, and where is it available?
The collaboration pack is free to download, but it requires the base game. KOEI TECMO America lists Atelier Yumia for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. In its region, the company identifies the Switch, Xbox One and Steam versions as digital-only. The cited Nintendo listing is for the US Switch store, so availability and store details may differ by region.

What did TEKKEN 8 receive?
The crossover also added Atelier Yumia items to TEKKEN 8, with the first items scheduled to arrive July 8, 2025. Bandai Namco’s announcement lists a hair accessory, a Puni customization item, an avatar T-shirt, a profile background and a title plate set. This is separate from the later Atelier Yumia pack: the two games received different items on different dates.
