You can choose it as a reward from the repeatable Atal’ai Potent Potables quest after collecting a Flask of Atal’ai Mojo from troll mobs in Temple of Atal’Hakkar.
What Atal’ai Mojo of War does
The item entry lists a 48-point increase to melee and ranged attack power. Melee or ranged attacks can also trigger a 10-second increase of 35 to whichever is higher for your character: Strength or Agility. The item is listed as requiring level 50, bind-on-pickup, and Unique (2). Its effects do not work outside Sunken Temple. Warcraft Wiki’s item entry records the item as added in patch 1.15.2 on April 2, 2024.
Wowhead’s Season of Discovery consumables guide lists a two-hour duration. A separate Wowhead Classic PTR item listing reports a 15% proc chance and a 40-second cooldown; those are PTR database details, not independently tested current live-server behavior.
How to get another Atal’ai Mojo of War
- Collect a Flask of Atal’ai Mojo from troll mobs in Temple of Atal’Hakkar. The flask is an objective for the quest; its item reference identifies troll mobs there as its source. See the Flask of Atal’ai Mojo item listing.
- Bring the flask to Zalgo the Explorer and complete Atal’ai Potent Potables. The level-50 quest is repeatable, and Zalgo gives and accepts it. See the quest listing.
- Choose Atal’ai Mojo of War from the three potion rewards. The quest also offers Atal’ai Mojo of Life and Atal’ai Mojo of Forbidden Magic.
The item entry records a 2024 hotfix changing Atal’ai Mojo consumables to Unique (2). That is historical patch information, not confirmation of current behavior on every server. Warcraft Wiki’s item entry includes the note.

Which Atal’ai Mojo reward should you choose?
All three choices are described as having effects restricted to Sunken Temple, but they support different roles. Choose according to your character and the encounter rather than treating one potion as universally best.

The proc chance and cooldown figures above come from a Classic PTR listing and should not be treated as verified current live values.
