What’s in Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration?
Atari describes the collection as an interactive history of the company’s first 50 years, bringing together playable games and historical material. Its US product page advertises more than 100 playable classics and six entirely new titles; these are Atari’s own product counts, not independent measurements. The page also describes Interactive Timelines that combine trivia, interviews, and games, alongside rare titles from Atari Jaguar and Lynx systems, 8-bit computers, and the 7800, 5200, and 2600.
Atari’s listing does not provide a complete game-by-game roster or specify precisely which titles are new to the Expanded Edition compared with the base release. Expanded Edition versus the digital Switch bundle
The name “Expanded Edition” can be easy to confuse with Nintendo’s separate digital bundle. Atari’s page presents a physical Switch game; Nintendo’s page presents a digital bundle of the base game and three DLC packs. The listings are not interchangeable descriptions of one SKU.

Nintendo says its digital product supports TV, tabletop, and handheld play, with single-system play for one to four players. Which version should you choose?
- Choose the Atari listing if you want a physical Switch copy. Confirm the seller’s page names the Expanded Edition and check current stock and price.
- Choose Nintendo’s bundle if you want the three named DLC packs digitally. Its listing explicitly includes the base game and all three packs.
- Compare the exact offer, not just “expanded” wording. Check platform, physical versus digital format, and the named included content. The cited official pages do not establish a full physical-release lineup across platforms or regions.
