Yes, but Scopely’s published reset instructions apply only if your Marvel Strike Force game is not connected to Facebook, Google Play, or Game Center. In that case, Scopely says uninstalling and reinstalling should let you start from the beginning. If your game is linked—or reinstalling brings back your old progress—contact Scopely Support rather than trying to close your account.
Resetting depends on whether your game is linked
Scopely’s Help Center article, “How do I reset my game and start over?”, says: “As long as you did not connect your game to Facebook, Google play/Game Center, you can uninstall and reinstall the game.” The article adds that “By doing this, you should be able to start the game from the beginning.”
This is conditional guidance, not a guarantee that reinstalling will reset every account. The article is old; its indexed listing says it was last updated 1,646 days ago. If you are unsure how your game is linked, or the reinstall restores your existing progress, ask Scopely Support for advice about your account.
What to do based on your account state
| Account state | What to do | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Not connected to Facebook, Google Play, or Game Center | Follow Scopely’s published guidance: uninstall and reinstall the game. | Scopely says you should be able to start from the beginning; it does not promise a reset in every case. Source |
| Connected to one of those services, or not sure | Contact Scopely Support before trying to reset or close the account. | Scopely’s reinstall instructions do not establish that a linked account will reset. Source |
| Reinstalled, but old progress returned | Contact Scopely Support and explain what happened. | Support can advise on your account; reinstalling alone has not produced the intended result. |
Do not confuse protecting progress with starting over
A Scopely ID is for protecting progress, not resetting it. Scopely’s progress-saving instructions say to open Options in the game, choose “Sign in with Scopely ID,” create an ID, enter an email address, and verify it. If your goal is to preserve your current game, that is the relevant route; it is separate from the reset guidance.

Account closure is a separate, consequential step
Closing an account is not the same as uninstalling and reinstalling. Scopely’s Terms of Service say, “You may choose to close your Account for any reason and at any time.” They also warn that closure can remove access to associated information, including game progress and Virtual Items. Scopely says to request closure through an in-game help ticket or by emailing [email protected]. If you are considering this because you want a fresh start, contact support first and confirm what will happen to your account.

Scopely’s support instructions include an in-game route: open Settings, choose Support, then tap the conversation bubble to start a conversation with Customer Support. The same article also lists web and email support routes. Tell support whether your game was connected to Facebook, Google Play, Game Center, or a Scopely ID, and whether reinstalling brought your progress back.
