What did Patch 1.23 fix?
Quests and progression
The notes cover quest-specific bugs as well as issues that could interfere with progress. In “Space Oddity,” the objective could move incorrectly. In “Family Matters,” Juliet’s car could disappear, and access or streaming problems could arise. “The Heist” received several fixes, including one for an inaccessible Arasaka officer’s body that could block progression. The notes also cite problems in gigs and other quests.
Gameplay and visuals
Gameplay corrections addressed an NPC body getting stuck in a stolen car, Adam Smasher taking damage during animations between attack phases, excessive destruction when dropping an NPC body, and Cataresist cyberware not working properly.

Visual fixes included Johnny’s spectral appearance, clipping in NPC clothing, rocks in the Badlands and a T-pose in “The Pickup.” These are representative examples from the patch notes, not a claim that every bug in the game was resolved.
Stability and performance
CD PROJEKT RED described crash fixes in animation, UI, scene, physics and gameplay systems, alongside memory optimizations and memory-management improvements. It also listed console CPU optimizations and memory and I/O improvements intended to reduce same-looking NPC duplicates in an area and improve streaming.

The announcement gives no measured crash-rate change, frame-rate result, fix count or other quantified performance outcome. Its stability and performance claims are qualitative descriptions from the publisher.

What did the announcement say about PlayStation availability?
Patch 1.23’s announcement says the update was live on consoles, but it does not provide a separate PlayStation-specific list. In a separate announcement dated June 21, 2021, CD PROJEKT RED said Cyberpunk 2077 had returned to the PlayStation Store and was playable on PS4 Pro and PS5. At that time, it warned that PS4 users might still experience performance issues and said PS4 Pro and PS5 offered the best PlayStation experience. For historical context on console copies, CD PROJEKT RED said in a June 19, 2020 compatibility announcement that PS4 copies would work on PS5 and Xbox One copies on Xbox Series X, covering both physical and digital copies.
