Practice Active Reload when the pressure is low
Active Reload adds a timing input to reloading. Windows Central describes a timing bar and says a successful second input can reload faster and temporarily increase damage. Reload from cover while learning the rhythm, then try it during quieter moments in a fight. Use the campaign as practice, then try Versus
The campaign supports solo play or two-player co-op, while Versus is the game’s player-versus-player mode. Starting in the campaign is a practical recommendation, not an official training requirement: its structured encounters give you room to get familiar with movement, cover, and reloading before competing against other players. What controls should I use?
Choose modern or classic, then stay consistent
Reloaded offers a modern, streamlined control layout as well as a classic-feel option. Try the available presets in the settings for your platform and settle on one before building muscle memory. How do I play with a friend across platforms?
Reloaded supports cross-play across Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam. For a cross-platform party, Xbox Wire says Microsoft account sign-in is required; it also enables cross-progression. PlayStation’s listing says online console multiplayer requires PlayStation Plus. Which settings are worth checking?
Comfort and accessibility
Settings reported for Reloaded include controller remapping, team-marker and damage-indicator colors, screen narration, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text. Sony’s listing also notes adjustable stick inversion and says the game does not require motion controls or controller vibration. Eco Mode on Xbox Series X
Microsoft documents three Eco Mode choices. Its case study does not state a publication year, and its power readings are average gameplay measurements on Xbox Series X—not predictions of what every player’s household will use.
