Battlestate Games’ 0.15 wipe stats showed that 62% of players chose USEC, while Partisan killed 876,328 players. Those figures—and the weapon and armor rankings—were reported on December 26, 2024, the same day Escape from Tarkov’s 0.16.0.0 wipe began. “Last wipe” was accurate for that report, not for today.
What stats did Battlestate release for the 0.15 wipe?
Insider Gaming reported the figures below from Battlestate Games’ end-of-wipe statistics post. The official post’s text was not accessible for direct verification, so the figures are attributed to Battlestate as reported by Insider Gaming.
- Faction choice: 62% of players chose USEC.
- Skill progression: 99,288 players maxed the Metabolism skill.
- Partisan: the boss killed 876,328 players.
- Mortar Strike event: 692,000 players accepted its quest.
- “Dark Times” task: 188,514 players accepted it, and 39,000 received Kappa.
These are reported totals for the 0.15 wipe, not current player counts or rates. Insider Gaming’s December 26, 2024 report summarizes the statistics.
Which weapons and armor were most popular?
Battlestate’s reported equipment rankings placed the M4A1 first among assault rifles, followed by the AKS-74U. The Mosin led bolt-action rifles, the SVDS led marksman rifles, and PACA Soft Armor was the most popular armor.

Was 0.15 really Tarkov’s last wipe?
No. Insider Gaming published the statistics on December 26, 2024, when patch 0.16.0.0 began. In that article, “last wipe” meant the wipe that had just ended. Later community-maintained histories list a 0.16.8 wipe in July 2025 and Escape from Tarkov’s 1.0 launch on November 15, 2025 as the last forced wipe. They describe subsequent progression resets as optional seasonal characters, separate from a permanent main profile.
That status is based on community reference pages rather than a directly verified official announcement. TarkovDB lists Season 1 — Kord Breach as beginning August 3, 2026, alongside patch 1.1.0.0; Games Finder’s wipe history was updated August 17, 2026. Check those pages for later changes: TarkovDB’s wipe and season history and Games Finder’s wipe history.
