The standard Beaker in Fallout 76 scraps into two Glass. The clearest documented place to look is Pylon V-13, where reference listings show four; another listed spawn is at the Sludge Works. Check the item’s variant name before scrapping: a thin beaker gives one Glass, while a large beaker gives two.
Where to find standard Beakers
Pylon V-13
Look in the monorail cars at Pylon V-13. The Fallout Wiki and Nukes & Dragons each list four standard Beakers at this location: Fallout Wiki: Beaker and Nukes & Dragons: Beaker.
The Sludge Works
The Fallout Wiki also lists one standard Beaker at the Sludge Works. These are documented spawn locations, not guarantees that an item will be present if another player has already collected it or the spawn is otherwise unavailable on your server.

Fallout 76 has standard, thin, and large beaker junk items. Their names and scrap yields differ, so use the item name rather than appearance alone when checking what you have.

The Fallout Wiki lists example locations for the variants: thin beakers at Bootlegger’s shack, Huntersville, Thunder Mountain Power Plant, and Pylon V-13; large beakers at Bootlegger’s shack, Arktos Pharma, Thunder Mountain Power Plant, and Kanawha Nuka-Cola plant. What Glass is used for
Glass is a crafting component used in weapon modifications and C.A.M.P. objects, according to the Fallout Wiki Glass page. Beakers are one way to obtain it; a guide updated February 12, 2025, notes that there are more reliable ways to get Glass but does not establish a current best farming route: Based Otaku: Fallout 76 Beakers.

The same February 12, 2025 guide mentions collecting beakers for the Science of Love event challenge as well as scrapping them for Glass. That is historical guidance, not confirmation that the event or its challenge is currently active; check the live in-game challenge list before making a trip for an event objective.
