For small offline sessions, try Doodle Cricket, Simon Tatham’s Puzzles, Mekorama, or Tank Hero. If you want multiplayer, Slither.io requires a working internet connection; Two Dots is a partial-offline option whose core levels work without a connection, while cloud saves and event packs do not.
What counts as a low-MB Android game?
There is no standard Android definition of “low MB.” This guide uses under 50 MB as a practical target for compact games, while noting titles that fit a broader under-100-MB list. These are editorial cutoffs, not guarantees about a current Play Store download.
Download size and installed size are different measurements. Google Play may deliver a device-tailored package, and an installed game can grow after updates or additional downloads. The figures below come from third-party roundups, not independent testing for this article; check the current Google Play listing for your device and region, and leave room for updates.

Online and partial-offline choices
Slither.io: multiplayer requires a network
Choose Slither.io when you want online multiplayer, not when you need a game that works without service. The under-100-MB roundup says it needs a working network connection. Fone.tips roundup

How to choose and check before downloading
- Choose a size ceiling. Use under 50 MB for a tighter shortlist, or broaden to under 100 MB if you have more room. Neither threshold defines “small” for all devices.
- Match the game to your connection. Pick an offline puzzle or arcade title for travel or limited data. For multiplayer, confirm that the game’s core mode needs a network; online play can consume data and fail without a stable connection.
- Check the current Play Store listing. Look at the size shown for your device and region, then allow extra storage for installation, updates, and any additional assets.
- Check what “offline” includes. A game may keep its main levels playable while disabling cloud saves, events, or multiplayer. If you need offline access, test it after installation with Wi-Fi and mobile data turned off.
Google Instant Games are a separate case
Google’s instructions for Instant Games on select Android devices say only games below 10 MB can be saved for offline play, and a game must first be played online.
