What Binance Labs announced
Binance Labs presented Xterio as a Web3 game platform and publisher aiming to connect free-to-play games with on-chain features. It said the $15 million commitment would advance Xterio’s games and technology, with AI integration and a token launch among the stated plans. The announcement did not disclose independent transaction terms.
Binance Labs’ July 13, 2023 announcement described the funding as a commitment. A subsequent Binance Labs year-in-review, published January 17, 2024, also listed a $15 million Xterio investment under Web3 Gaming.
What the AI plans involved
In 2023, Binance described Xterio as developing a toolkit for producing style-consistent 2D and 3D assets, as well as an AI “emotion engine.” Xterio also planned to expand its AI capabilities, create AI-driven interactive experiences, and address AI provenance in Web3. These were announcement-era plans and descriptions, not confirmation of released tools or experiences.

Games and platforms named in the announcement
Binance’s announcement named Overworld, Age of Dino, and 3T as games in the Xterio ecosystem. It also said a cross-platform game suite was scheduled for PC and mobile. The announcement does not confirm the games’ present availability or current platform support.
