Which Golden Joystick Awards did Clair Obscur win?
The ceremony took place in London on 20 November 2025. Sandfall Interactive’s game won four awards, Jennifer English and Ben Starr received acting awards for their roles in it, and Sandfall itself was named Studio of the Year. The categories and winners were reported by the Epic Games Store.

Did Clair Obscur break the Golden Joystick wins record?
No. Its seven awards equalled the seven Golden Joysticks won by Baldur’s Gate 3 in 2023, according to PC Gamer’s coverage. That report says The Last of Us Part II had previously held the mark with six wins. The accurate description is that Clair Obscur tied the record, not that it set a new one.
What happened at the ceremony?
Maggie Robertson hosted the London ceremony. The Epic Games Store report said more than 21 million votes were cast for public-voted awards; that figure counts votes, not unique voters.

While accepting Ultimate Game of the Year, Sandfall Interactive CEO and creative director Guillaume Broche expressed surprise at the result. PC Gamer reported him saying, “We know we are lucky enough to experience all of this, so we just want to share the deep feeling that we all have,” followed by, “What the fuck is happening right now?”
