Tisseur is an optional boss in Sirene. It is weak to Fire and Light, and resists Ice, Dark, and Earth. The key pressure is Curse: Destructoid’s walkthrough says it kills the afflicted character when it expires, so aim to finish the fight before turn eight. You can approach Tisseur when ready and start the encounter by interacting with it.
Where to find Tisseur and start the fight
Tisseur is in the Sewing Atelier area of Sirene, before the Axon. Destructoid’s route starts at the Sewing Atelier Expedition Flag: take the nearby stairs, then turn left into the room where Tisseur is. The Expedition 33 Wiki names the Crumbling Path Flag as the nearest named flag. Since those sources give different nearby flags, use the Sewing Atelier and room landmarks rather than relying on a precise coordinate; the game has no in-game coordinates or minimap.

The encounter is optional, and Tisseur is not hostile until approached and spoken to, according to the wiki. Destructoid says to choose the attack option in the interaction prompt. If your party is not prepared, leave and return later.
Which elements to use
Both the Expedition 33 Wiki and Destructoid list Tisseur as weak to Fire and Light, and resistant to Ice, Dark, and Earth. Bring whichever weakness your party can use reliably, and avoid building your damage around the resisted elements.

Destructoid specifically suggests Lune’s Fire Rage as a Fire option. That is a guide recommendation, not evidence that Lune is required or that this is the best party setup.
Handle Curse before it expires
Destructoid reports that Tisseur opens by placing Curse on a character. The walkthrough says the effect kills that character when it expires and recommends defeating the boss before turn eight. The wiki does not confirm the duration, so treat the turn limit as a single-guide warning rather than a separately corroborated mechanic.

Read Tisseur’s attack cues
Destructoid describes three attack patterns and recommends timing parries or dodges to their animations. The descriptions below come from that walkthrough; they are not independently tested timing guarantees.
Swipe Combo
Tisseur draws back its right fist, lands two quick slams from the left, pauses briefly, then swings upward before switching fists for more swings. Follow the arm movement and time your defense to each strike.

Glissando
Watch for Tisseur to float, then time a parry or dodge for the attack. The guide does not establish that one defense is universally better.
Smash
Tisseur moves its head forward before the strike. Use that movement as the cue to time a parry or dodge.

What rewards does Tisseur drop?
Destructoid reports these rewards: Anti-Charm Pictos, three Resplendent Chroma Catalysts, one Recoat, Tissenum (a weapon for Maelle), 7,050 Chroma, and 108,120 XP. The Expedition 33 Wiki page, last updated September 23, 2026, says it could not verify Tisseur’s specific drops, so this list should be treated as Destructoid’s report rather than a confirmed drop table.
