To unlock Final Audience in Hollow Knight: Silksong, find all three Cogheart pieces, assemble the Cogheart, and use it to awaken the Second Sentinel in Cogwork Core. Then meet the Sentinel in the Citadel at least twice—or once if you have acquired Everbloom—learn the Conductor’s Melody, and complete at least two Songclave wishes, including Building Up Songclave. The Final Audience wish appears at Songclave’s wishwall.
Find all three Cogheart pieces
Each piece is in a different area and is earned by completing a bell-memory puzzle: repeat the bells in the order they play. The sequences below use the Hollow Knight Wiki’s numbering convention. If you are following a diagram or another guide, check its numbering before entering a sequence; Memorium’s layout is described differently by Nintendo Life.
Choral Chambers
- 1-5-4-6
- 3-6-5-1-7
- 2-4-6-3-5-1
Whispering Vaults
- 1-2-7-4
- 7-5-6-4-5
- 2-7-3-5-6-1

Using the wiki’s stated “up – down” orientation, enter:
- 7-2-4-6
- 4-2-1-4-3
- 1-5-6-2-7-3

Awaken the Second Sentinel in Cogwork Core
Take the assembled Cogheart to the dormant Sentinel in Cogwork Core. Nintendo Life’s route starts in the lower room filled with cogs:
- Descend along the room’s left side and take the doorway on the left.
- Cross the platforms, then jump through the opening in the ceiling.
- Use Double Jump to reach the next platform.
- Break the two walls on the right to uncover the chamber.
- Free the Sentinel from the glass, then interact with it using the Cogheart.
The Sentinel will then move among locations in the Citadel, where you need to encounter it to satisfy Final Audience’s progression requirement. [Nintendo Life’s Cogheart and Second Sentinel guide]

Meet the Citadel encounter requirement
After awakening it, meet the Second Sentinel at least twice in the Citadel. If you have acquired Everbloom, one meeting is enough. At eligible locations, it appears once; rest at a bench before looking for its next appearance. The wiki lists the hallway east of the Cogwork Dancers room and the long Choral Chambers hallway below Cogwork Core among its encounter locations. [Hollow Knight Wiki: Second Sentinel]
If the encounter does not seem to trigger, check that you have actually activated the Sentinel with the assembled Cogheart, and rest at a bench between sightings. The locations and conditions for its appearances can vary with progression, so these listed hallways are useful places to check rather than a guarantee that it will be waiting there at every stage.

Meet the other Final Audience requirements
Waking the Sentinel is not enough on its own. Before the wish appears, you must also:
- Learn the Conductor’s Melody.
- Complete at least two Songclave wishes.
- Include Building Up Songclave among those completed wishes.
Once these conditions and the Sentinel encounter requirement are satisfied, look for Final Audience at Songclave’s wishwall. [Hollow Knight Wiki: Final Audience]

Complete Final Audience in High Halls
Accept the wish and follow the Second Sentinel’s markers to a newly accessible room in High Halls. Defeat it there to complete Final Audience and receive Reserve Bind. The Sentinel’s attacks include aerial moves, scissor-blade strikes, repositioning, and a parry or counter. Nintendo Life’s guide highlights its jumping spin and counter and recommends Cross Stitch as an option for the fight; that is guide advice, not a requirement for the quest.
