Atmosphere and scares
Hey Poor Player and Pure Nintendo were among the more positive voices, describing a tense, creepy experience. Gamer Escape, by contrast, found the atmosphere ineffective. That split suggests the game’s restrained approach to horror will appeal more to players who enjoy unease and suspense than to those seeking consistently forceful scares.
Stealth and enemy behavior
GameGrin found the stealth-horror puzzle experience enjoyable but noted that enemies could seem unintelligent. Gamer Escape also criticized the enemies, finding them frustrating.
