The roster below follows unofficial guide and database information—not an exhaustive Battlestate Games list—and exact availability can change by patch or event.
How to read the current boss roster
The Tarkov Field Guide’s Patch 1.1.5.0 page lists bosses across Customs, Woods, Interchange, Reserve, Shoreline, Factory, Lighthouse, and Streets of Tarkov, alongside Icebreaker, Terminal, and the Labyrinth for special or current encounters. It also says boss presence and spawn probabilities are unverified for that patch; treat the map list as a guide, not a guarantee that a boss will appear in a raid. Read the guide’s boss reference.
Some entries are not conventional map bosses: Partisan is described as a roaming encounter, the Goons operate as a coordinated trio, and the Labyrinth has its own sequence. Event names also should not be assumed to appear in ordinary raids. The table separates these differences rather than treating every name as a regular, fixed spawn.
Where each boss appears and what support to expect
| Boss or group | Maps or location listed | Guards and encounter notes |
|---|---|---|
| Reshala | Customs; Terminal | Four heavily armed and armored guards in police uniforms on Customs. Terminal escort details are unverified. |
| Killa | Interchange; Terminal | Operates alone in the regular Interchange encounter. Terminal escort details are unverified. |
| Shturman | Woods | Two to three heavily armed and armored guards. |
| Glukhar | Reserve; Terminal | Six heavily armed and armored guards on Reserve. Terminal escort details are unverified. |
| Sanitar | Shoreline; Terminal | Three heavily armed and armored guards on Shoreline. Terminal escort details are unverified. |
| Tagilla | Factory; Interchange; Terminal | Operates alone in the regular encounter. Terminal escort details are unverified. |
| Kaban | Streets of Tarkov | Two bodyguards, four equipped guards, and two to three snipers—approximately eight to nine followers. |
| Zryachiy | Lighthouse | Two Cultist guards. |
| Kollontay | Streets of Tarkov | Four heavily armored guards. |
| Partisan | Customs; Woods; Shoreline; Lighthouse | Operates alone. The guide does not establish a fixed position, so no location should be treated as guaranteed. |
| The Goons: Knight, Big Pipe, and Birdeye | Customs; Woods; Shoreline; Lighthouse; Icebreaker | A coordinated group of three. On Icebreaker, Knight instead has two Rogue guards. |
| The Wedge | Icebreaker | Three to six heavily equipped guards. |
| Shadow of Tagilla | The Labyrinth | Guard composition for this variant is unverified. |
These encounter details come from the unofficial Patch 1.1.5.0 guide. Its list identifies where an encounter is associated, not a guaranteed spawn point or appearance in every raid.

How support groups change the threat
Solo encounters
Killa and Tagilla have no guards in their listed regular encounters; Partisan is also described as operating alone. A solo boss removes the extra guard angles found in group encounters, but that does not make an appearance safe or predictable.
Small guard details
Reshala, Sanitar, Zryachiy, and Shturman are listed with two to four guards, depending on the encounter. The guide characterizes many of these followers as heavily armed or armored. Players should account for multiple opponents rather than focusing only on identifying the boss.

Larger formations and coordinated groups
Glukhar’s Reserve group has six guards. Kaban’s listed support includes bodyguards, equipped guards, and snipers—about eight to nine followers total. The Goons are three bosses supporting one another, while The Wedge is associated with three to six guards. These compositions mean an encounter can involve several threats and angles, not just a single target.
Special, roaming, and event encounters
Partisan and the Goons
Partisan is listed across four maps without a fixed position. The Goons—Knight, Big Pipe, and Birdeye—are a coordinated trio listed on Customs, Woods, Shoreline, Lighthouse, and Icebreaker. On Icebreaker, the guide notes a different support arrangement: Knight has two Rogue guards.

Icebreaker and the Labyrinth
The Wedge is a special Icebreaker entry with three to six heavily equipped guards. The Labyrinth encounter is described as a two-stage sequence: Shadow of Tagilla roams the bunker, and Vengeful Killa appears after Shadow is killed. The guide does not verify Shadow’s guard composition.
Event and other special names
A community-maintained roster also names Cultist Priest, Santa Claus, Vengeful Killa, Shadow of Tagilla, and The Wedge. Santa Claus is identified there as an event Scav boss with a multi-map event appearance. These labels do not establish that the characters are active in ordinary raids; check current event information before planning around them. See the community-maintained boss roster.
Rank #4
Use equipment as an identification clue, not a loot promise
The guide lists recognizable equipment associated with several bosses. It can help identify an encounter, but it is not a promise that the item will be lootable or dropped.
- Reshala: Golden TT-33 and bunkhouse key.
- Killa: RPK-16 and distinctive Maska helmet or face shield.
- Shturman: stash key and Red Rebel ice pick.
- Glukhar: ASh-12.
- Sanitar: blue-marked keycard and bag.
- Tagilla: welding masks and hammer.
- Kaban: machine guns.
- Zryachiy: AK-50 and balaclava.
- Kollontay: PR-Taran baton.
- Big Pipe: Milkor M32A1 launcher.
The guide flags lootability as unverified for some examples, and some listed equipment may be combat gear rather than loot. It also says total boss HP is unverified for Patch 1.1.5.0; this roster therefore does not give HP or hard spawn-rate figures.
How complete is this roster?
TarkovBox’s Escape from Tarkov Encyclopedia reports 19 boss records and says its data was updated September 9, 2026. That is the database’s record count, not a developer-issued statistic or proof that every record is a regular map boss. Check the TarkovBox encyclopedia.
No official developer roster is established by these references. The practical approach is to use the maps and group details as a current secondary-source guide, then check the live build and event status when an exact spawn or availability matters.
