Roblox documents creator-side scripts for hiding selected built-in interface elements in an experience you make. The official documentation reviewed does not establish a universal player-side shortcut that hides all UI in any game.
Can you hide the UI while playing Roblox?
There is no universal hide-all-UI shortcut confirmed in the official documentation. If you are playing someone else’s experience, check that experience’s own settings or controls; whether it offers a way to hide its interface depends on the experience.
The creator controls below apply to an experience you make. They hide selected Roblox-provided interface elements; they are not a general switch for every interface a game may display.
How creators hide default UI elements
A client-side script can use StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled() with an Enum.CoreGuiType to disable supported built-in elements. Roblox’s list includes the player list, health bar, Backpack, text chat, emotes menu, Self View, Captures, and Avatar Switcher. See the StarterGui API reference.

local StarterGui = game:GetService("StarterGui")
StarterGui:SetCoreGuiEnabled(Enum.CoreGuiType.Health, false)
This changes the default health display for players in your own experience. If you hide it, consider whether your game needs a replacement way to communicate health.
The top bar needs a different method
The top bar is not disabled with SetCoreGuiEnabled(). Roblox documents a separate call: StarterGui:SetCore("TopbarEnabled", false). The StarterGui reference notes that core-script interactions may need to be retried with pcall() if the relevant core script has not loaded yet.

Hiding the top bar also removes quick access to platform features such as the main menu, chat, and leaderboard. Weigh that access cost against the visual space you gain, and provide replacement controls if players still need those functions.
Hide touch controls separately
On touch devices, Roblox normally provides a virtual thumbstick and jump button. To hide these controls in your own experience, a client-side script can set GuiService.TouchControlsEnabled to false. This is separate from the CoreGui options; Roblox documents both in its StarterGui reference.
