Sometimes—but there is no documented universal way to recover every missed Iconic weapon. CD PROJEKT RED has added specific recovery routes for named items, including Sasquatch’s Hammer, several Phantom Liberty airdrop weapons, and BFC 9000. The right route depends on which weapon you missed, where it originally appeared, and your game version.
Which missed Iconic weapons have documented recovery routes?
Official patch notes name a handful of cases. They do not promise that the Dogtown Black Market Vendor stocks every Iconic you missed.

How to check for your specific weapon
- Identify the exact item and where it came from. Note whether it was tied to a boss, quest, airdrop, crashed AV, or crafting spec. The documented routes are item-specific.
- Check your inventory and apartment stash. A weapon may be collected even if it is not visible on the wall. Update 2.0 expanded the apartment stash wall to display all base-game Iconic weapons, and Patch 2.01 fixed an issue that kept some collected Iconics from appearing there. - Try the route documented for that item. For the named Dogtown recoveries, visit the stadium Black Market Vendor. For BFC 9000, check the crashed AV location in Rancho Coronado.
- Confirm your game version and expansion access. The five named airdrop weapons are Phantom Liberty Iconics. These patch-note routes may not apply to a different weapon or acquisition circumstance.
- If there is no documented route, revisit the original source and check current vendor stock. The official notes cited here do not establish a complete vendor inventory or a recovery method for every missable Iconic.
Can you craft or upgrade a missing Iconic?
Upgrading is not the same as reacquiring. CD PROJEKT RED’s crafting and upgrading support page says crafting and upgrading require a Crafting Spec and the necessary components. It explains that Iconic weapons can be upgraded to the next Tier from the Upgrades tab in the Crafting menu when you have the required components.
Do not assume you can simply craft a weapon you missed. Patch 2.02 says an Iconic weapon’s crafting spec disappears after you craft the item, and the documented patch notes do not provide a general way to replace every missing or consumed spec. Patch 2.11’s Psalm 11:6 and Buzzsaw fix applies to players who completed the required activities but did not receive those specs—not to all crafting cases. Patch 2.02 Patch 2.11

Why an Iconic may not appear on the stash wall
The wall is a display, not a complete test of whether you own an item. Check both your character’s inventory and the apartment stash. Patch 2.01 specifically fixed a bug in which some collected Iconics did not show on the wall, so a blank display slot by itself does not prove the weapon was lost. CD PROJEKT RED Patch 2.01

For a weapon not covered by the named examples, useful details are its exact name, whether Phantom Liberty is installed, the quest or encounter where it appeared, what choice or acquisition condition you completed, and your game version. Those details help distinguish a missed pickup from a display issue or a case that has no documented recovery route.

Patch-specific recovery examples remain useful, but future updates can change acquisition paths or vendor stock; the sources cited here do not establish the Dogtown vendor’s complete current inventory.
