InZOI’s Create a Zoi lets you shape both a character’s appearance and parts of their identity, including age group, gender, traits, and desired life. You can start with presets or edit details across the face, body, hair, skin, clothing, and accessories. Some choices may be difficult or impossible to change after you finish, so review them before creating your Zoi.
What can you customize in Create a Zoi?
The creator combines profile choices with visual editing. The InZOI Wiki’s guide describes these main areas; exact controls can vary as the game is updated.

- Basic information: name, age group, and gender.
- Traits and desired life: choices that define aspects of the Zoi beyond appearance.
- Face: choose a face preset, then use basic or detailed face editing.
- Body: select a body type and adjust available body settings.
- Hair and skin: choose hairstyles and skin appearance.
- Outfits and finishing details: select clothing, footwear, accessories, and makeup.

What should you check before finalizing?
The Wiki guide reports that basic information and facial structure cannot be changed after creation, and that body shape is fixed while body hair remains adjustable. This is not an exhaustive or independently verified editability list for every current game version. Check the options shown in your installed build before committing, particularly for choices you care about changing later.

Official updates have continued to alter Create a Zoi. KRAFTON’s v0.9.0 update notes, dated June 19, 2026, list new school uniforms, baby hairstyles, outfit items and accessories, additional party dresses and stockings, changes to skin-aging parameters, and random selection among multiple saved situational outfit presets. The notes identify Windows PC Steam, Mac Steam, and Mac App Store build identifiers; they do not establish that every control or restriction is identical across platforms.

Studio mode is the creator’s presentation workspace: the Wiki guide describes controls for expression, pose, lighting, and background. Use it to prepare how your Zoi or outfit looks when presented, rather than treating it as a separate character-creation system.
How do you save or share a Zoi?
The Wiki guide describes uploading a Zoi’s appearance or an outfit to Canvas, with shared creations retained among Zoi and outfit presets. Canvas is also presented on its official landing page as a place to explore community creations. Because the public landing page does not document a current, detailed upload sequence, use the Canvas controls available in your installed version rather than relying on a fixed menu path.
When should you use the ModKit?
The ModKit is an optional creator route, not a requirement for ordinary in-game customization. KRAFTON’s v0.2.0 notes, dated June 13, 2025, announced the ModKit, additional character items, and accessory position and size adjustments. They describe custom outfit creation and sharing through CurseForge or manual extraction, and identify Maya and Blender DCC plugins.

For skin changes beyond the built-in creator, the official Skin ModKit documentation covers replacing head and body color textures and specifies applicability by gender and age group. That is a modding workflow; it is separate from selecting the available appearance options in Create a Zoi.
